For admission into Jewish schools, parents are required to fulfil the requirements of a Certificate of Religious Practice (CRP) and/or a Supplementary Information Form (SIF).

The CRP requires confirmation of a set number of attendances, during a specified range of dates.

The SIF confirms knowledge of the family’s religious observance by completion of a questionnaire by a Rabbi.

It is the parent’s responsibility to ensure they have completed the correct form for their child. Details are available through the schools respective websites or offices.

If you need a SIF completed, please bring it to the Shul office and we will ensure it is completed by the Rabbi.

If the school you are applying to uses the CRP system, please see below.

Registration

REGISTRATION (FOR ENTRY TO SCHOOLS IN SEPTEMBER 2018) IS NOW OPEN

Once you have completed the online form you will receive by email, within 5 working days, a PDF document with CRP vouchers. You are expected to print off your vouchers in advance and bring one when you attend Shul on Shabbat.

Shul Attendance

On Shabbat there will be a box for the vouchers to be delivered.  After Shabbat, each week your attendance will be entered into our system.

Please note that Shul attendance implies the child (for entry to secondary school) or parent (of children entering Nursery/Reception) are attending a service in shul, including children’s services.

CRP Forms

As soon as the required number of attendances have been completed, please bring the relevant CRP Form/s from the school/s that you are applying to for Sharon in the Shul office to sign.
