The Landy Gallery is a versatile space designed to accommodate 50 to 100 guests. This compact yet functional space offers an ideal setting for meetings, seminars workshops and small receptions.

• Small kitchen
• 100 guests seated theatre style
• 50 guests for business / conference lunches
• Overhead projector facilities
• Disabled access (lift from ground floor)

What does the cost of hall hire include?
The Hire Charge includes use of the Gallery, caretaking, security, chairs, tables, climate controlled air conditioning, small kitchen (which has a maximum 5 star rating from the Food Standards Agency) and audio visual facilities (including an overhead projector and drop down screen).

When can we access the building?
Your caterer or event planner is welcome to begin their work anytime from 1.00pm for an evening function or from 7.00am for a lunchtime function. In all cases clearing up must be completed within one hour of the event ending. Earlier access is available by agreement and may incur a small charge.

What caterers can I use?
You may use any caterer who is approved by the London Beth Din. In practice this covers all Beth Din caterers and most Sephardi and Kedassia caterers. A complete up to date list is available on the United Synagogue Website.

What is the latest time my function can end?
We have a licence that requires any function to end and guests to have left by 11.30pm. Caterers may remain on site until 12 midnight to complete their clearing up.

Do I need to bring additional lighting?
If you wish to enhance the facilities further by bringing in additional lighting, then this is perfectly acceptable.

I have several elderly or disabled guests, what facilities are available to them?
There is wheelchair access to the Gallery via a lift and private toilet facilities in both the Gents and Ladies cloakrooms. Arrangements can be made to drop off/collect disabled visitors at the Synagogue entrance but this must be arranged in advance. We regret cars/vans cannot remain on site.

Can I use my own supplier for flowers, music, decorations etc.?
Yes, we do not have any preferred contractors. However, we will want to be satisfied that any company working in the building complies with all relevant Health & Safety requirements, and will ask them to complete risk assessments, provide copies of their insurance cover and an agreement to confirm they understand our guidelines for any modifications they may wish to make to the Hall for your function.

Can I park on site?
Unfortunately no, but there is plenty of on-street parking.
